Non-Student Performer and Presenter Policy

The Furry Club at Oregon State University welcomes performers, exhibitors, panelists, presenters, singers, and other contributors from both students and non-students! However, because Oregon State University's insurance only covers student participants, we have a few extra requirements for non-students to ensure compliance with university policies.

1. Live Performances, Exhibits, and Presentations Require Insurance

If you are a non-student and would like to perform, exhibit, present, or otherwise participate live at our event, you must provide proof of general liability insurance with at least:

For classified high-risk activities, the following coverage amounts are required:

Additionally, at the discretion of OSU facility management, a higher coverage amount may be required for certain high-risk activities.

Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) must meet the following requirements:

  Oregon State University
  3015 SW Western Blvd.
  Corvallis, OR 97333

“Oregon State University, its officers, board members, agents, and employees are named as additional insured.”

Live performances, exhibits, panels, and presentations cannot proceed without valid insurance documentation that meets these requirements.

2. Alternative Option: Pre-Recorded Submission

We understand that insurance can be a barrier, so we are happy to offer an alternative! If you are unable to meet the insurance requirement, you are welcome to submit a pre-recorded video of your performance, panel, presentation, or exhibit instead.

All submitted videos will be reviewed to ensure they align with:

To ensure compliance with OSU's policies, all performances, exhibitions, presentations, and submitted materials must not contain copyrighted materials unless explicit permission has been obtained or an applicable legal exception applies. This includes, but is not limited to:

I acknowledge that:

If a performance, exhibition, or submitted video contains copyrighted content without proper authorization, it will not be accepted and may result in cancellation.

4. Screening and Approval

All video submissions will be reviewed before approval. The Furry Club at Oregon State University reserves the right to reject any video that does not comply with university regulations or club policies.
